Dave Watson began sculpting works of art in chocolate, butter, cheese, and ice, 20 years ago as a chef.
He traded in his culinary sculpting for wood sculpting after watching another chainsaw carver bring forth a beautiful carving out of a pine log.
Dave travels around the United States doing several shows a year. His work is characterized by the usual production of bears and eagles, but he has a wide variety of carving ability including frogs, turtles, pigs, rabbits, trees, gnomes, wolves, dragons, totem polls, and etcetera.

Dave has been recognized for his talent in many newspapers and magazines articles. He is also a U.S. Grand National Champion carver.

We regret that we do not ship chainsaw carvings. This is because of the hairline cracks that are inherent to a wooden carving; they more often then not, arrive damaged.
